Our Client is looking for a Credit Risk Manager to lead the ongoing optimisation of credit risk policies and be accountable in the detection and recommendation of any improvements to both policy and process.
• Lead the portfolio risk team in the analysis and assessment of emerging portfolio credit risks whilst formulating and implementing credit recommendations and solutions;
• Develop, optimise and review portfolio risk appetite, management policies & strategies to reflect changes in risk/ competitive dynamics in the market place.
• Facilitate the ad-hoc production of management information or analysis in support of questions / challenges from senior management.
• Develop and manage key performance drivers and portfolio forecasts to retain portfolios within agreed portfolio appetite levels.
• Ensure that all committee materials are produced in a comprehensive, informative, accessible and timely manner;
• Manage and engage in ad-hoc projects as required.
Skills and Requirements:
• Experience working within Risk Management.
• Strong ability in technical programming languages e.g. SAS, SQL, VB, Python.
• A strong analytical and inquisitive mind-set.
• Driven to learn new and complex techniques.
• Highly numerical background in relevant areas such as statistics or business.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
