Credit Risk Manager - Chester - £50k - 70K - Hybrid working

Credit Risk Manager - This established organisation are looking for a Credit Risk Manager.

 

Reporting into the Credit Risk and Technology Director you will be supporting the ongoing management of Credit Risk strategy within the company. You will be leading a team of Credit Risk Analysts and will oversee ongoing production of MI, providing recommendations for process improvements and presenting to senior stakeholders.

 

Credit Risk Manager responsibilities:

 

Management responsibilities for a team of Credit Risk Analysts

Internal stakeholder management, including members of the Executive team and team members from Compliance, Operations and Finance

Presentation at

key governance committees, though primarily Credit Risk Committee

Support the Credit Risk & Technology Director in setting and executing on Credit Risk Strategy, underpinning of the wider business strategy

Ensure timely delivery and regular reviews of key MI in business, making recommendations for change where appropriate

Ownership and execution against key line of business policies and procedures

Collections specific responsibilities:

Management and execution of Collections contact strategy

Vendor management responsibility for Genius Software Solutions

Identification and timely reporting of any risks or issues identified by the team

Experience in developing and delivering Collections contact strategies

 

Candidate requirements

 

Excellent management capabilities and desire to grow staff professionally

Good knowledge of wider Credit Risk functions and end-to-end customer journey understanding

Good understanding of key drivers of P&L

Experience working with risk decision systems

Ability to track, identify and communicate key performance indicators to a variety of business audiences

Good understanding of credit policy governance framework and able to work through first and second line of decent in a competent manner

Good stakeholder management and relationship building

Understanding of Credit Risk Model development (e.g. logistic regression

 

Required experience:

 

Strong experience within Credit Risk, with specific Collections experience

Management of a Credit Risk function
