Training & Development Manager

Our clients are an exciting, forward-thinking brand in financial services. They are looking for a Training & Development Manager to support the growth of the business.

The Training & Devlopment Manager will work closely not only with the Senior Training & Development Manager and Head of Training and Development, but also with the rest of the Training and Development team, wider Compliance Team, and Business Quality function, to ensure consistency of the service delivered to the advisers and investment managers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervision, coaching and the supporting of a designated allocation of advisers and investment managers within the firm, which is achieved by the monitoring of specific KPI’s and management of adviser competence.

  • Undertake both remote and face to face compliance and supervision coaching with advisers in line with the firm’s business practice manual, directives, and training & development scheme.

  • Support the development of adviser competence through the identification of training needs of new and existing colleagues by liaising with business quality team and the recording of root cause analysis.

  • Assess advisers training needs and document through the training needs analysis document.

  • Provide regular MI to the Senior Training and Development Manager/ Head of Training and Development in relation to workflow levels.

  • Create and manage Support and Training Plans for advisers with training need Supervise, coach and mentor trainee advisers (or those deemed as non-competent)

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Experience of undertaking a similar role within a Wealth Management/IFA business.

  • Diploma Level 4 qualified as a minimum.

  • Knowledge across areas such as Life, Pension, Investments and Mortgages.
