MERJE are partnered with a specialist UK financial services group focusing on attractive segments of the UK retirement income market. They are a leading and established provider of retirement income products and services to individual and corporate clients.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will be responsible for providing tax services to the Group, including Corporation Tax and Value Added Tax. Services will include tax compliance and submission of appropriate tax and related returns for the Group.
You will also assist in the operational aspects of the in-house tax function across a range of taxes. The role focusses on reporting and control of Group tax (both group and company level) but will also include involvement in interesting advisory projects with exposure to stakeholders from across the business including at executive level.
£65-80,000 depending upon experience + Pension, Bonus & Benefits
Good levels of remote working are available but you will need to be comfortable travelling to their Head Office in Reigate (Surrey) as and when required.
What will you need to qualify?
• ACA and or CTA or equivalent
• Leadership and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels.
• Working knowledge of Alphatax.
• Good Excel skills
• Financial Services industry experience preferred
