Senior Outsourcing & Vendor Manager

An Outsourcing & Vendor Manager is required to join a leading international bank based in London on a 3 month contract (inside IR35) paying £450 per day.  

As the Outsourcing & Vendor Manager, you will manage the onboarding & offboarding of Vendors/Suppliers and maintain relationships with them.

  • Manage the interaction between vendors/suppliers and internal relationship owners/supplier managers and ensure adequate oversight and facilitation of the bank's outsourced suppliers and vendors.

  • Role responsibilities & experience required:

  • Ensure that Vendor management policies & processes are matured & integrated into existing and new systems and processes and that the VM capability and awareness are continuously improved.

  • Validation and assurance to ensure that the BCM solution is regularly reviewed and tested.

  • Have an understanding/experience of the Ops resilience framework and third-party testing scenarios.

  • Work with other teams to oversee disaster recovery and incident management across the bank.

  • Oversee the external vendor/supplier relations within the bank.

  • Ensure that the enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment, and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished.

  • Manage and coordinate vendor/supplier processes and methods to renew/approve new relationships.

  • Coordinate, track, measure and report vendors/suppliers to contractual obligations and costs.

  • Oversee (renewal /expiry dates) of all contractual agreements for vendors and suppliers.  

  • Identify commercial sourcing opportunities and support the tendering process to ensure the quality of service and value for money.

  • Business Continuity

  • Oversee the Business Continuity Manager to assist in developing and maintaining a corporate-wide Business Continuity program, policy and framework document(s) that address business recovery and emergency response management requirements.

  • Support aligning all Business Continuity planning, initiatives and goals with Organizational goals and Infrastructure capabilities.

  • Ability to understand front-to-back processes and operational controls and procedures.

This is a contract role paying up to £450 per day (inside IR35) with the likelihood of extending.
