My client a leading Financial Services organisation urgently require an experienced Audit Manager to support the Head of Audit developing and implementing a risk based Audit plan.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the Head of Internal Audit to develop an appropriate ‘audit universe’, considering the scale and complexity of the business.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the 1st line of defence and the 2nd line of defence to create an integrated assurance plan
• Develop and regularly update the risk-based Internal Audit Plan, as a key component of the integrated assurance plan.
• Review and challenge the planning and delivery of major change projects and programmes, operational changes or major capital expenditure.
• Coordinate with, and provide oversight of, other control and monitoring functions
• Support the Head of Internal Audit to provide reporting to management and Board committees including ExCo, Board Audit Committee, Board Risk Committee and the Board.

Previous experience and qualifications:

Being professionally qualified, preferably with an Internal Audit qualification, you will have Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at a senior level, including presentation of findings to senior management. Operating with integrity, due skill, care and diligence you will observe proper standards of market conduct.

Additionally, you will have experience of auditing within a changing organisation and auditing of change and projects, with a good knowledge of relevant, regulated markets, including retail mortgages, customer services administration and treasury.
