Compliance Officer and MLRO required for a leading, global corporate services provider.
As the Compliance Officer & MLRO, you will ensure that the firm complies with applicable laws, regulations, supervisory requirements, internal policies and procedures through internal controls and actions.
You will ensure that all activities undertaken align with the various laws and regulations relating to the Guernsey regulatory licenses.
The key responsibilities for the role:
Act as Compliance Officer, proactively keeping an up-to-date awareness of Guernsey regulatory developments and providing guidance to the firm
Act as MLRO, acting as the primary point of contact for receipt of internally submitted SAR/Production Orders, assessment and disclosure to Guernsey FIU;
Internal reporting to the firm's various Boards (Gurnsey) and the wider group
Assist the Regional Head of Compliance with leadership and guidance for the Guernsey branch
Assist with the completion of regulatory returns
Review and follow up of Internal and External Audit/Regulatory reports and recommendations in a timely manner
Contribute to the communication with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and any other authority as required.
