Your new role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join our FP&A team - an integral part of the Group's Finance function and one which offers fantastic learning and growth potential.

The role will report to the Head of FP&A, with responsibility for driving continuous improvement to the Group's performance reporting, as well as the delivery of impactful analysis to drive strategic decision making.

The successful candidate will be required to collaboratively engage across Finance, Risk and the Business, playing a key role in supporting and influencing business decision making to ensure the business achieves its strategic objectives.

It will suit an individual who thrives in a challenging and changing environment and consistently seeks to deliver high quality analysis and support to senior management.

The role will be based in our London office, however you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week.

What will your day look like?

  • Produce monthly performance reporting for the Group's Executive Committee and Board

  • Drive continuous process improvement, supporting the delivery of more timely, impactful financial analysis

  • Monitor news flow, market developments and competitor results to provide updates and insights to senior management

  • Build strong working relationships across Finance, Risk and the broader business

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Group's structure, strategic priorities and drivers of financial performance

  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis, presentations and briefings for senior management, internal and external audiences as required

What do we expect from you?

  • Highly numerate and familiar with key banking financials and drivers of performance

  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial acumen

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Keen interest in financial markets

  • Data driven and action orientated

  • A strong team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to use own initiative
