​Job Description MERJE are partnered with a leading Cheshire based Financial Services business in their search for a talented FP&A Manager to join their Personal Finance Division

You will be responsible for providing FP&A support to the Personal Finance division; working closely alongside both finance and non-finance stakeholders to influence and lead the performance of PF. As well as providing commercial analytical review and insight to enable stakeholders to make the decisions that matter quickly.

Your new role:

• Act as a business partner to the Personal Finance business to support delivery of the PF financial targets

• Lead the financial reporting process for PF, including full reporting of pre/post 2016 portfolios

• Ensure the production, delivery, understanding and presentation of insightful financial analysis; proactively developing new analysis and insight to support business decisions

• Maintain monthly payment tracker and project cost reporting for remediation activities. Providing support and challenge

• Work in collaboration across Personal Finance and Group functions

• Develop and embed a monthly opportunities and risks process

• Support the forecasting and budgeting process

• Contribute to a wide range of projects and initiatives as required

Our Ideal candidate:

• Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualifications

• Significant experience of Financial Planning and Analysis working in Financial Services Companies.

• Strong communicator and influencer

• Ability to choose and use a range of financial tools and techniques

• Strong Excel and IT skills

• Motivated to take ownership of own work and seek further responsibility

• Commercially focused

• Business partnering or stakeholder management experience

• Likes to deliver to a high-standard and is comfortable with change.

Candidates who are able to demonstrate the below will be given additional consideration:

• Technical or product accounting knowledge

• Regulatory Capital knowledge
