MERJE are partnered with a Yorkshire based Building Society in their search for a talented FP&A Manager.

Your new role:

• Play a key role in forecasting, engaging with senior stakeholders from across the business to develop financial forecasts and provide information to support the navigation of the business as well as key business decisions

• Responsible for insightful Financial MI, maintaining and analysing monthly results to enable leaders across the business to easily understand financial performance

• Support the development of annual targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Financial modelling and forecasting, facilitate effective forward decision-making by Executives and Board members through delivery of regular reporting, financial analysis, and strategic insights and help business leaders understand the financial implications of strategies and decisions.

The Finance Team that is looking to build out its FP&A function to support the next phase of growth. This position is crucial to the Societies ability to establish its short, medium, and long-term plans.

This role will require someone with a combination of technical and softer skills – how you do things is often as important as what you do.

To be successful you must have strong analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature. Vision, energy, enthusiasm and focus are required but also contextual sensitivity and the ability to work effectively across a broad spectrum of people.

Qualifications:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA

At least 2 years Financial services experience

Min 1 year Financial Planning experience
