MERJE are partnered with an established, prominent Manchester based Financial Services business in their search for a Financial Analyst.
Due to their maturity plans they are expanding their Regulatory Reporting function and looking for an experienced Finance Analyst.
The Finance Analyst will produce regulatory reporting returns on a regular basis, covering reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’), Bank of England and other relevant Bodies.
They will ensure timely and accurate production of the relevant returns, in compliance with the relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the accurate production of relevant FCA and Bank of England statistical reporting on a timely basis
Assist the Divisional Financial Controller in embedding a Regulatory Reporting Framework, including maintaining documentation of interpretations and judgements and Standard Operating Procedures for all regulatory reporting.
Assist the Senior Regulatory Reporting analyst in streamlining existing processes, enhancing data sourcing and maintaining a clear and concise audit trail for all returns.
Responsible for accurately entering and submitting regulatory returns on relevant systems
Assist the Senior Regulatory Reporting analyst in the review and enhancement of existing reporting processes along with implement new reporting requirements as and when required.
Support ad hoc reporting, communication and analysis as required
Support the regulatory change process by supporting projects and providing input to requirement definition documents
Maintain up to date knowledge of reporting requirements, regulatory changes and developments

Experience

Intermediate / Advanced Excel
Ability to work in a structured manner to tight deadlines
