Our clients are an exciting, forward-thinking brand in financial services. They are looking for a Compliance Officer to support the growth of the business.

This newly created Compliance Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and develop the compliance function and play a critical role in supporting their ambitious plans to transform the way payment facilitators operate and deliver an efficient and engaging experience for the customers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Driving compliance throughout the business, working closely with stakeholders from board to front line and tech.

• Inhouse SME for all applicable regulatory requirements including PSD2, FCA conduct of business rules, financial crime prevention and anti-money laundering and data protection.

• As Compliance Officer you will support and advise in day to day matters and project work.

• Maintain up to date compliance policies and procedures.

• Develop and maintain a risk-based compliance monitoring plan.

• Keep up to date with regulatory change and its impact on the business.

• Design and deliver compliance training programmes to colleagues.

• Prepare and submit regulatory returns.

• Oversee and support the wider risk management framework.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Proven experience of working in a compliance advisory

  role within an FCA regulated firm.

• Exposure to payments industry/fintech is ideal.

• Excellent technical ability

• Commercially minded.

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Adaptable to change and highly organised.
