Our clients are an exciting, forward-thinking brand in financial services. They are looking for a Compliance Officer to support the growth of the business.

This newly created Compliance Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and develop the compliance function and play a critical role in supporting their ambitious plans to transform the way payment facilitators operate and deliver an efficient and engaging experience for the customers.

Role Responsibilities:

Driving compliance throughout the business, working closely with stakeholders from board to front line and tech.

Inhouse SME for all applicable regulatory requirements including PSD2, FCA conduct of business rules, financial crime prevention and anti-money laundering and data protection.

As Compliance Officer you will support and advise in day to day matters and project work.

Maintain up to date compliance policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain a risk-based compliance monitoring plan.

Keep up to date with regulatory change and its impact on the business.

Design and deliver compliance training programmes to colleagues.

Prepare and submit regulatory returns.

Oversee and support the wider risk management framework.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Proven experience of working in a compliance advisory role within an FCA regulated firm.

Exposure to payments industry/fintech is ideal.

Excellent technical ability

Commercially minded.

Excellent communication and people skills

Adaptable to change and highly organised.
