Job Description

Our clients are an exciting, forward-thinking brand in financial services. They are looking for a Compliance Manager to support the growth of the business.


You will report directly into the Head of Compliance and be responsible for overseeing and delivering the Compliance Monitoring Plan and assisting the wider group with advice on FCA compliance.


Role Responsibilities:

Coordinating information for RegData returns for the group and submitting the returns on time.

Liaising with the Data Protection department regarding GDPR related matters.

Assisting Head of Compliance by completing necessary information and reports including submission of FCA information requests and internal reports.

Liaising with external third parties as and when necessary, building positive relationships.

Maintaining and updating internal policies and procedures

People Management of Compliance Team colleagues

Overseeing Complaint Management Framework and delivering the Compliance Monitoring Plan

Maintain knowledge of new and evolving regulatory compliance requirements and good practice

Provide clear and accurate reports of findings to the Head of Compliance and key stakeholders.

Promote a positive compliance culture in all interactions.

Maintain positive stakeholder relationships across the business to identify risks and issues.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Experience of working in an FCA regulated financial services business.

Experience of working in a retail environment

Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively.

At least 2 years previous experience working in a Compliance Manager role.

Track record of supporting businesses in a risk/compliance function

Ability to complete and submit information to the FCA via Connect & RegData.

IT literate with the ability to organise and analyse high volumes of data.

Proven track record of leading a successful, diverse, and innovative team.
