My Client an International Leisure business is currently seeking a Technical Accountant with strong US GAAP experience to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance for US GAAP and aiding in the improvement of the controls environment ready for a listing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide US GAAP guidance on appropriate treatment of items

• Update and maintain group reporting manual

• Document processes and procedures

• Draft policies and review countries to ensure everyone is following policies and procedures

• Prepare position papers throughout the year for complex transactions

• Identify new legislation upcoming for group and plan for implementation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience

• Experience in a listed environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
