​Our client is a highly trusted organisation that are undergoing a period of regulatory transformation and are building out their compliance function in line with this change. The firm are hiring a Risk Officer in what is a role managing risk matters across the business in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an effective 2nd line of defence for the business in regard to risk management activities in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

• Working with business units to facilitate the identification, control environments, assessing and reporting of risks and the proactive identification of incidents.

• Maintain an effective internal and external perspective to identify emerging risks and subsequent assignment of responsibilities for any mitigating actions required.

• Provide training, coaching and advice on risk and incident management to the 1st line of defence and 2nd Line Compliance team enabling effective implementation of the ERMF policies, procedures, systems and tools.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working in an Enterprise Risk Management capacity within a Financial Services organisation authorised with the FCA.

• Demonstrable experience managing or operating a Risk Framework utilising IRM recognised terminology and structures.

• Practical, analytical and commercial approach to complex problem solving.

• Desirable Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry recognised qualification.
