​MERJE are partnered with an award winning national personal investment business that are looking to appoint a Regulatory Reporting Analyst. This is a newly created role and would suit a self starter with the goal of becoming a Regulatory SME for the Firm over time.

Your new role:

To support the operations department with regulatory matters, ensuring they are dealt with effectively and efficiently. Improving procedures and influencing the operating framework to contribute to the firms Mission and Vision.

Act as a centre of excellence for internal and external regulatory reporting enquires, undertaking investigations as required in order to maintain a 'TCF' culture in respect of client queries and complaints.

Be an integral part of the team in liaising with external regulatory bodies to gain updates, provide reports and assist on any associated regulatory affairs.

Managing the receipt of and subsequent payment to clients of income distributions alongside submission of regulatory returns to the relevant authorities in a timely manner. Distribute Tax Vouchers.

Be responsible for the preparation, calculation and submission of regulatory returns including -

• ISA (Annual stats, ISA 10, 25 etc)

• S18 / S25 (to HMRC)

• CRS (known as AEOI and reported to HMRC)

• QI 1042 return (reported to IRS)

• Collection of forms necessary for regulatory returns
