My client is looking for a Project Analyst to report to the Head of Projects, the department and role covers business change and formal project delivery, both technical & non-technical delivery.

Glasgow 3 times a month but can be based anywhere

•Manage projects through the full project life cycle, from initiation through to implementation

•Develop the design and delivery of the project scope and create detailed project plans

•Create business cases and user stories

•Communicate progress updates, milestone summaries and overall project progress

•Document business requirements clearly and gain approval and sign offs

•Ensure agreed methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the change & project lifecycle

•Seek innovation by researching new technologies or services and provide business cases for new value adding initiatives

•Co-ordinate workstream activities, agree milestones and gather updates from business / project team members

•Maintain change logs and RAID logs, identify & escalate risk or threats appropriately

•Proactively prepare the business for the change being implemented

•Act as Chair for change and project meetings and requirement workshops

•Procedure mapping, creating materials to support the implementation of change, knowledge documentation for hand over to Training / other departments

•Ensure all 3rd party suppliers are engaged appropriately and contracts are in place and managed to ensure the required outcomes for the business.

Skills & experience

•Evidence of project & change delivery of IT & Digital projects as well as cultural / non-system change

•Experience in Financial services, specifically Mortgage Lending

•Experience in project governance including record keeping, approvals and sign off

•Experienced in coordinating and chairing requirement workshops

•Technically literate, with advanced Project software skills with ability to learn new systems quickly

•Experienced stakeholder management, balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness

•Experienced planner with evidence of prioritisation, organisational and implementation skills

•Proven experience of analysing, summarising and presenting new initiatives or innovation.

•Experienced and evidential skills in writing formal and informal reports to communicate the status of projects and change

•Have a great customer service ethos, are proactive and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
