Operational Risk Specialist required for a leading lender. This is a great opportunity for an individual to develop and operational risk management system to enhance and progress what is already in place.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be able to lead, build and provide specialist technical support on the Risk Systems that the business has in place, develop and champion Operational Risk Framework practices across the business, contributing positively and enhancing the business’ risk culture.

Your responsibilities will include…

• Provide subject matter systems build and release deployment to 2nd Line of Defence risk leadership and the wider 1st Line of Defence user community and provide guidance and training on how the Risk system operates and the optimal use of the system.

• Design and deliver Operational Risk based training and support relating to the Risk System to the business where required, for example workshops, individual or team sessions.

• Lead engagement and communications with Risk Champions and Risk Supporters to ensure timely updates and aid awareness and consistency of communications.

• Develop relevant reports from the Risk System on a set of metrics for the Director of Operational Risk and the ExCo to ensure that control performance is reported correctly. And any emerging risks identified.
