Our client is an Accident Management specialist and we are looking for several New Claims Handlers to provide phone support and an accurate administrative service to ensure all customer deliveries are

confirmed and arranged in line with Company and Customer expectations

This is mainly a work from home role 37.5 hours a week on a rota between 8am and 8pm Mon –Fri and some weekend working. You will be required to attend 2 weeks training on site in Lichfield.

Responsibilities:

  • To confirm delivery arrangements with the customer in a proactive timely manner

  • To liaise with external delivery partners to ensure vehicles are delivered in a proactive and timely manner.

  • To assist with the progression of claims in line with defined business goals and objectives.

  • To deal with any customer queries or issues arising from the delivery process.

  • To liaise with the Internal Sales department to ensure that all the relevant information is required for successful deliveries.

  • To accurately input information and capture relevant details on the Back-Office system.

  • Efficiently respond and action all correspondence in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate records related to all potential, new and existing claims through the relevant IT systems in accordance with process, procedures and SLAs.

  • Accurate production of all Driver Packs, ensuring data recorded is a true reflection of what has been  agreed.

  • Observing and complying with GDPR.

  • To achieve objectives and targets set.

What you need to have:

  • Experience working in a fast paced, target driven customer focused role ideally within a phone-based environment.

  • Demonstrable administration and customer service experience

  • The ability to learn new process quickly and efficiently.

  • Competent with using (MS Office) and in-house packages.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, persuasive and assertive

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Proven judgment and decision-making skills including problem solving.

  • Ability to effectively manage professional relationships with business partners and clients.

  • Adaptable, tenacious self-starter who is results orientated.

  • Able to work on own initiative as well as support team and departmental goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrable experience of achieving against targets.

  • Good written communication skills, capturing a clear logical summary of situations.

  • The ability to prioritise, recognising importance and urgency and work to tight deadlines.

  • Effective time management including organisation of self and workload

  • Excellent Customer Service ethos including empathy skills.
