£22,319 - £29,300 Annual Salary + Uncapped Commission

 Insurance Retention Consultant Role:

This is a high-volume outbound calling B2B sales role, focused on engaging with our existing customers to renew their contracts and retain the products and services our supply them. A key requirement of the role is that all activity performed aligns to our values and sales behaviours, with a customer-centric focus always maintained.

Insurance Retention Consultants responsibilities:

  • Outbound call to our customers to retain and renew commercial insurance policies.

  • Perform all activity within regulatory standards, GDPR, quality policies and FCA regulation.

  • Complete all reports, system and CRM updates in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Possess an expert level knowledge of our systems and business processes.

  • Possess the ability to sell/renew all our insurances packages and to transact new business policies.

  • Complete all financial transactions in accordance with CASS rules and GDPR restrictions.

  • Manage mid-term customer queries, ensuring policy is fit for requirements.

  • Create excellent working relationships across our colleague community.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of negotiating multiple products, price and contract terms

  •  A level of understanding of B2B sales processes

  • Good written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to individual customers.

  • High level of attention to detail and organisation, with a sense of ownership, pride and responsibility for the accuracy of own work

  • The drive, resilience and focus required to win in a competitive new business sales environment

  • A genuine interest in own development and learning needs, with the energy and desire to act on them to improve own performance.

  • A professional and pleasant demeanour, with the desire to create good working relationships with both colleagues, customers and suppliers.
