​My client is looking for a Head of Service - third party function which sits within the Group Operations Chief Controls Office through effective leadership, communication and delivery from the Group Business Services based across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the Group Business Services & Third Party Resilience teams

• Lead and deliver against the agreed schedule of events relating to the time bound activities for the Customer Regulatory for the Savings and Mortgages Portfolios

• Coordinate and report against non-system process change across the Operational area to support effective and timely introduction of process change and process improvement.

• Document and present on the annual assurance relating to the compliance to FSCS and SCV/CoA compliance to OpsCo and / or the Risk Board committee.

• Support and coordinate with pre on boarding due diligence assessment for potential new third parties being selected by the business surround the entry exiting considerations and contingency options.

• Be responsible for the Third Party Contingency Steering Group to provide clear direction and delivery with the aim to have robust exit plans in place, agreed testing strategies and risk profiling for new and existing critical third plans.

Skills, knowledge & Experience

• Specialist knowledge of Third party contingency and exit planning is essential.

• Specialist knowledge of the FCA / PRA Depositor Protection requirements is essential.

• Specialist knowledge of Operational process change is essential.

• Detailed knowledge of HMRC and TISA guidelines are desirable.

• Detailed knowledge of Retail and Lending products and systems is desirable.

• Basic knowledge of FCA Reporting, specifically surround DISP activities is desirable.

• Experience of Line Management, managing and developing staff is essential

• Experience working within a Financial Services organisation is essential
