Our client, a leading name within the Property / Residential Development space, has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the team in their Warrington Office.

Reporting to the Finance Director, as a Finance Analyst, you will provide support to the divisional finance hub in providing accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders for decision making purposes and assist with the smooth running of the finance team. 

Role and Responsibilities:

Preparing monthly reports for Regional and Group Teams

Assist in preparation of Cashflows

Opportunities to coach and support Assistant Finance Analyst

Performing month end reconciliations and providing account analysis

Preparation and input of monthly journals

Business Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to facilitate information flow

Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the division.

Any other finance duties as directed and required

Skills and Experience :

Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Ideally from a Housebuilding or Construction background

Experience of using COINS would be highly beneficial

Good experience in a reporting function

Experience of implementing new processes and procedures and consistently challenging such processed to improve the quality of Output

Advanced Excel skills and proficient in Word and PowerPoint

Strong interpersonal skills and possess commercial awareness to effectively communicate at all levels across the business

Be flexible in your approach and be pro active in dealing with issues

Attention to detail and accurate

Effective communicator, working well with both Finance and Non Finance colleagues
