MERJE are delighted to be exclusively working with an Employee owned FMCG Organisation who are currently going through a period of growth.

As part of this they require a Talented Commercial Finance Business Partner to provide finance support to the Commercial Team

Reporting to the Head of Operational and Commercial Finance your responsibilities will be as below:

Provide cover to Commercial/Operations Finance Business Partners.

Undertake ad-hoc analysis work for Head of Business Partnering.

Monitoring the Commercial Customer Support budget to ensure that it is used effectively and is not overspent.

Ad hoc profit analysis of particular products and customers.

Completing costings of New Business Enquiries to enable Commercial team to make effective quotations.

Full responsibility for the provision of profit margin information to the Commercial Team including products, brands, customers, channels and producers.

Implement robust reporting and controls to ensure that all misc. income is correctly recorded and reported in the period results.

Qualifications and Skills :

Ideally educated to Degree level and studying to become a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)

Experience working in a FMCG accounting environment desirable.

SAP or similar ERP system experience would be very beneficial.

Experience of change processes to maximise efficiency in processes, results and team structure.

Excellent systems experience including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level such as pivot tables and v look ups), Word, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated mathematical and analytical knowledge and the ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem Experienced at implementing change to maximise efficiency in processes, results and team structure.
