Due to the continued growth of our risk, financial crime, and anti-fraud solutions, we currently have an exciting position for an experienced Business Development Manager. You will be at the centre of driving forward our sales activities across multiple verticals, new markets, and across our diverse range of capabilities. 

You will effectively engage with our target audience to achieve new business revenue targets, driving value for our new clients that leads to lifelong partnerships.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving leads, generating opportunities and driving new client acquisition

  • Executing a leading role in our sales, product and marketing activity aligned with our target markets

  • Developing account strategies, identifying decision makers, agreeing collaborative plans, developing relationships, understanding client problems, and driving sales opportunities

  • Engaging at all levels of the client organisation, intimately understanding the clients’ needs

  • Developing a strong understanding of our wide-ranging product suite and how clients can achieve value from them

  • Sales targets, lead generation, account planning/organisation, engagement levels with account, pipeline management, strength of sale assessments

Skills & experience

  • A strong background and motivation in sales or business development

  • Comprehensive and detailed understanding of at least 1 market sector in which we operate – Financial Services, Insurance, Utilities, Vehicle Finance and Vehicle Rental, Telco and Retail Finance

  • Have a detailed knowledge of SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions

  • Experience of engaging, presenting and influencing at senior levels

  • A willingness and ability to work flexibly and independently in a friendly, fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Excellent people and communication skills, including networking, both internally and externally

  • Experience of translating strategic requirements into solution capabilities

  • Strong organisational skills
