Senior Insight Analyst

MERJE is looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to join a growing Banking - Commercial company based in Cheshire. This role will support the management of the banks business insight and analysis, along with activities to de-risk existing technology infrastructure on unsecured lending.

The Role:


The Senior Insight Analyst will work to grow the banks capabilities in the production and embedding of Business Insight. They will create data analysis, providing clear, concise, and actionable insight that can be consumed by end-users. The successful candidate will embed new data visualisations tools (PowerBI) to improve insight and provide self-serve capabilities to the business. They will provide insight reporting on third-party performance to support stakeholders with oversight activity, and support the business in its analytical requirements on emerging risk events or remediation programmes.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Insight Analyst:


- Work with the Enterprise Analytics Manager to grow the banks capabilities in the production and embedding of Business Insight.
- Create data analysis, providing clear, concise, and actionable insight that can be consumed by end-users.
- Embed new data visualisations tools (PowerBI) to improve insight and provide self-serve capabilities to the business.
- Provide insight reporting on third-party performance to support stakeholders with oversight activity.
- Support the business in its analytical requirements on emerging risk events or remediation programmes.

Required knowledge and experience for the Senior Insight Analyst role:


- Degree/Advanced degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrable experience in managing data outputs and turning it into actionable insight.
- 3+ years of experience working in the financial services sector, preferably unsecured lending or Collections.
- Track record of being a key member of project teams, providing data and analytical expertise to deliver on the objectives.
- Experienced user of technical analytical platforms – preferably Python and SQL.
