Niche recruitment consultancy MERJE has relocated its Greater Manchester-based headquarters to a brand new, purpose-built office complex in Whitefield, North Manchester.

The building, named Bank House, is owned by MERJE and has been designed and developed in collaboration with local suppliers to provide a stylish and modern environment in which the Northern team can continue delivering their award-winning recruitment services.

Located opposite Whitefield Metrolink tram station and with access to bus links into central Manchester, MERJE is based in the 2,900 square foot ground floor office and the top floor space is available to rent for commercial use.

The new office interior incorporates contemporary furnishings and materials, such as polished concrete accent walls, and includes workstations for 28 employees, meeting rooms with video conferencing equipment, break out spaces, a kitchen and a bar area. The office has been designed to allow for the future growth of the company as new team members join MERJE and new services are launched.

Richard Abelson, Director and co-founder at MERJE, said, “When we set up MERJE seven years ago, the dream was always to find a space of our own to create the ideal working environment for our employees. We believe this a key factor in running a long-lasting and successful recruitment consultancy, and much like our London office’s move to a new modern premises in January, the new location will provide an attractive and enjoyable space for our team as well as guests.”

The new address for MERJE’s Manchester office is MERJE, Bank House, 9 Bank Street, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 7JF.

2018 has been a significant year for MERJE so far – highlights include the announcement of their highest-ever financial results, being named ‘Recruitment Partner of the Year’ at the Credit Awards, the launch of the MERJE Front-Line Talent and Procurement recruitment teams, the unveiling of a new website and the London team’s move to larger offices in Fleet Street.
