Based in London with Home Working
Our client is a fast growing UK Insurance Intermediary currently controlling over £700m premium as one of the top independent insurance intermediaries in the UK.
The Group comprises:
- A national network of insurance brokers focussed on delivering an expert, personal service to their clients
- Leading Lloyd’s and London market brokers Lonmar and Ropner which operate in the global, specialty insurance and reinsurance markets
- An Underwriting Division distributing specialist products via partnerships with over 2000 UK insurance brokers
We are looking for a candidate with the following attributes and a Min 5 years in General Insurance:
Good understanding and experience in working with:
- a wide range of insurance classes & data sets (quote, exposure, premium, claims)
- the data lifecycle
- tracking and measuring portfolio performance
- the dynamics of individual risk underwriting, portfolio underwriting and e-trading
- pricing methods
- actuarial pricing, rate and reserving models
- scenario testing, impact analysis and what if analysis
- data analytics and visualisation
- reporting and presentations
- data enrichment sources particularly peril, credit and validation data
Useful to also have a knowledge of:
- reinsurance underwriting and pricing techniques
- aggregation control and catastrophe modelling
- capital allocation
- data sciences
They are in the process of consolidating their underwriting and claims data within a central Data Warehouse so initially this role will also be supporting a large scale Data Integration project.
