​Job Description: You will be responsible for supervision, coaching and supporting advisers and investment managers within the business.

The Training and Development Manager will work closely with the rest of the Training and Development team to ensure consistency of the service delivered to the advisers and investment managers. You will also work closely with the wider Compliance and Business Quality functions.

Key responsibilities include:

•Undertake Teams based compliance and supervision coaching with advisers in line with the firm’s business practice manual, directives and training & development scheme

•Support the development of adviser competence.

•Identify the training needs of new and existing colleagues by liaising with business quality team

•Assess advisers training needs and document through the training needs analysis document

•Create and manage development plans for advisers with training needs

•Attend consistency meetings with the business quality team

•Contribute to the design and delivery of training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization and the individual.

•Record and MI accurately reflecting training and development activity carried out by the team.

•Assist the Compliance Director to ensure that statutory training requirements are met

•Provide updates on trainee progression, general attitude and adherence to company policies and procedures

•Undertake any further duties determined as reasonable and necessary in fulfilment of role

•Define and provide evidence (record keeping) of competence for all authorized advisers, both attaining & maintaining competence

•Supervise, coach and mentor trainee advisers (or those deemed as non-competent)

• Act as a coach / mentor for the training & development team to enable them to attain & maintain competence in line with regulatory obligations

The Person:

•Minimum Level 4 qualified or equivalent

•Previous experience of training and/or coaching a team or individuals

•Knowledge of UK regulatory framework
