Job Description: 

Control significant IT and related areas category within a fast paced and digitally focussed retail business. Work closely with stakeholders to develop strategies and then ensure procurement is a strong enhancer of these strategies.

Key Responsibilities include:

Managing a key category area within a fast paced business. Developing and continually review robust IT category plans based on business need, supply market dynamics and technological advancements. Work with, but also challenge IT stakeholders to drive the most appropriate business outcome at all times. Work with commercial finance to ensure that tangible benefits can be tracked into the P&L

The Person:

Very strong stakeholder engagement. An ability to extract maximum innovation from suppliers and to manage multiple significant projects at any one time. The role covers HW/SW Digital and other associated areas so the spend is both significant and critical to this global business. Most important is the passion and drive of the individual that will complement their extensive IT Procurement skills. This role presents genuine scope for quick progression into a senior leadership role.
