MERJE is working with a well-established bank looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst. Joining the Regulatory Reporting team in Wolverhampton, the role offers hybrid working in a small, highly functioning environment responsible for the timely and accurate production of regulatory returns for the Group. You will have the opportunity to prepare accurate and timely regulatory reporting templates and similar external reports for review by the Regulatory Reporting Manager with a core focus on the more technically challenging areas of financial, capital and liquidity reporting for a regulated banking entity.

Key responsibilities as a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst:

  • Lead the production of key prudential regulatory returns for liquidity, capital and Finrep

  • Support the Regulatory Reporting Manager with horizon scanning

  • Carrying out gap analysis of any new reporting requirements and assisting in the implementation of new regulatory requirements

  • Play a key role in the automation of spreadsheet processes and documentation of procedure manuals

  • Provide input on relevant regulatory reporting project work

  • Pro-actively supporting the MI and Projects Team with building and testing new reports

  • Scope and carry out detailed testing on new processes and software implementation

  • Produce reconciliations of key regulatory numbers to the trial balance

  • Provide training and mentoring to junior members of the team

Skills and Qualifications required as a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst: 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a bank with strong reporting skills. Qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) are desirable but not essential.

Salary: 

£50,000 - £55,000 + bonus
