We have an incredible opportunity as a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Group Internal Audit (GIA) team.

The role
As a Senior Internal Auditor you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the business, protect its customers, shareholders and colleagues, and influence at Executive and Board level with the work you deliver. You will assess the landscape of risks, work with your team to devise audit strategies and execute end to end audits whilst owning the work and stakeholder relationships.
As well as core audit delivery you will help form macro opinions, keep our audit universe relevant, develop audit topics for the annual plan and can get involved in driving functional initiatives forward.
You primary area of business and assurance focus will be Finance and Actuarial . Our Finance and Actuarial teams are undergoing a significant amount of change as the busines prepares itself for IFRS 17 compliance, further improves its Internal Model capability and transitions financial modelling and reporting to support the growth in our Asset Management business and Open Division where there is market leading product innovation.

Confident stakeholder management, communication skills, able to build relationships and challenge the status quo at a senior level
Good attention to detail; strong analytical skills
Excellent planning, co-ordination and organisation skills, balancing audit delivery with external demands and managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. The ability to constantly adapt is useful.
Knowledge
E xperience in Life and Pensions
Desirable:
Knowledge of Solvency II regulations, modelling techniques, assumption setting or asset liability matching
