​This is a high-volume outbound calling B2B sales role, focused on engaging with T existing customers to renew their contracts and retain the existing products and services;

The Role:

1. Outbound call to customers to retain and renew commercial insurance policies

2. Perform all activity within regulatory standards, GDPR, quality policies and FCA regulations

3. Complete all reports, system and CRM updates in a timely and accurate manner

4. Develop an expert level knowledge of all the products, systems and business processes

5. Possess the ability to sell all clients’ insurances packages and to transact new business policies

6. Complete all financial transactions in accordance with CASS rules and GDPR restrictions

7. Manage mid-term customer queries, ensuring policy is fit for requirements

8. Perform demands and needs policy analysis and re-broke where necessary

Requirements of you:

1. Achieve all sales targets in a consistent manner (month-by-month)

2. Achieve all agreed activity targets

3. Operate within client’s quality guidelines

4. Achieve all objectives agreed with the Customer Retentions Sales Manager

Receive above par scores from customer satisfaction surveys and internal feedback.

Experience required:

1. A minimum of 4-years demonstrable success in a high-volume desk-based B2B, commercial insurance sales role or 5-years in a personal lines’ insurance role

2. Significant experience of negotiating multiple products, price and contract terms

3. An expert level of understanding of B2B sales processes

4. An expert level of understanding of regulatory requirements impacting B2B sales organisations in the insurance industry.

1. Good written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to individual customers

2. High level of attention to detail and organisation, with a sense of ownership, pride and responsibility for the accuracy of own work

3. The drive, resilience and focus required to win in a competitive new business sales environment

4. A genuine interest in own development and learning needs, with the energy and desire to act on them to improve own performance

5. A professional and pleasant demeanour, with the desire to create good working relationships with both colleagues, customers and suppliers.
