​MERJE are working with a General Insurance company looking for a Partly/Nearly Qualified to join the Risk function (which is predominately Actuarial professionals).

You will support with a number of tasks and get the benefit and exposure of numerous work streams.

This firm is going through an Internal Model Application Process (IMAP) so you’ll be involved in the validation of that. You will provide oversight of the risk frameworks and ORSA process. In addition, you’ll see aspects of model assumptions, methodology and governance. Aspects of reserving and pricing will also be touched upon in this role.

We’re looking for someone at the Partly/Nearly Qualified level who has the appetite to work in a Risk Actuarial position. If you’ve got experience in various roles within General Insurance, then this will be advantageous. If you’ve only worked in Risk / Reserving or Capital, then you’ll still be of interest!
