​Job Description: You’ll be joining a fast paced start-up environment with a very hands-on approach. This role will be paramount in the delivery of credit risk and data projects.

Remote working options available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership and delivery of a range of credit risk and data projects, including analytics, reporting, portfolio management, automating processes, testing and more.

• Analysis of marketing, application and portfolio data as well as identifying trends and developing an in-depth understanding of our customers to improve strategies and business performance.

• Monitor strategy and portfolio performance.

• Work closely with our 3rd party servicer, investment manager and funders to deliver and monitor portfolio data

• Monitor origination pipeline against origination targets, concentration limits and financing arrangements

• Develop statistical models to forecast credit performance and losses.

• Optimise use of external data sources (like credit reference agencies) to enable better decision making.

• Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set, constantly identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, tools, technologies, etc.

• You’ll take ownership of the regulatory compliant affordability models, leading on all aspects of affordability, as well as prepare reports and presentations for senior management and credit committees

Previous experience and qualifications:

• 2 - 4 years of experience in a data and analytics driven credit risk role within the Financial Services industry, specifically Mortgages

• Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience and familiarity with SQL, Python or similar programming language

• Have a technical background

• Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set, constantly identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, tools, technologies, etc.

• A strong academic background in quantitative discipline
