Key Responsibilities of the Senior Credit Risk Analyst:

  • Productionising algorithmic decisioning and reports into the SAS production environment (DI Studio/RTDM/ESP/BRM)
  • Ensuring data sources required for decisioning are loaded into Cassandra or other data stores
  • Applying best practice across the design of production flows
  • Keeping documentation accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring the successful transition from testing to production
  • Managing dependencies between a variety of data sources and jobs
  • Ensuring the decisioning outputs are captured into the data lake or other storage area
  • Organising for knowledge transfer across FS
  • Liaising with other DI Studio managers across the business and participating to steering meetings and forums
  • Supporting 3rd parties involved in setting up environments and tools
  • Integrating new data sources for use in decisioning/reporting
  • Organising alerts and information distribution
  • Enhancing performance wherever possible (CPU, db load, etc.)
  • Communicating effectively to an audience at times non-technical in nature
  • Integrating Open Source algorithms as part of production flows

Ideal knowledge and experience of the Senior Credit Risk Analyst:

  • Knowledge of DI Studio
  • Knowledge of SAS RTDM
  • Knowledge of SAS ESP
  • Experience of putting dev scripts into production
  • Good communication skills
  • Delivery focused person
  • Ability to explain complex themes to a non-technical audience
  • Positive and solution-driven attitude
  • A degree in a numeric/scientific discipline
