Role responsibilities:
Support the delivery of a range of complex Credit Risk projects to agreed standards and timescales.
Investigate data, find trends, and provide insight and recommendations to drive change through the credit life-cycle across a range of products.
To construct risk analytics/reporting to support the delivery of tactical solutions and perform analysis to enhance Credit Risk decision making.
Continuously improve portfolio reporting and credit strategy monitoring.
Support the analysis and forecasting of credit performance.
Prepare reports for Senior Management or for review at relevant business forum or credit committees.
Responsible for automating and streamlining analytical process to increase integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure clear documentation and commented code is in place for all analysis and processes.
To define and clearly articulate key messages and outcomes concisely.
Maintain logs/audit trails for all changes and decisions.
About you:
4+ years’ experience in Credit risk in Financial services or Banking, analysing Credit cards and/or Personal loans portfolios.
Degree in quantitative subject (e.g.. Maths, Economics, Engineering).
A logical analytic approach to problem-solving with the ability to find solutions
Credit bureau data – Intermediate
Python / SQL - Intermediate/Advanced (Desirable)
Some decision system experience (Experian Strategy Manager, Triad/Blaze, FICO Originations Manger, or equivalent)
