Role responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of a range of complex Credit Risk projects to agreed standards and timescales.

  • Investigate data, find trends, and provide insight and recommendations to drive change through the credit life-cycle across a range of products.

  • To construct risk analytics/reporting to support the delivery of tactical solutions and perform analysis to enhance Credit Risk decision making.

  • Continuously improve portfolio reporting and credit strategy monitoring.

  • Support the analysis and forecasting of credit performance.

  • Prepare reports for Senior Management or for review at relevant business forum or credit committees.

  • Responsible for automating and streamlining analytical process to increase integration, effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Ensure clear documentation and commented code is in place for all analysis and processes.

  • To define and clearly articulate key messages and outcomes concisely.

  • Maintain logs/audit trails for all changes and decisions.

 

About you:

  • 4+ years’ experience in Credit risk in Financial services or Banking, analysing Credit cards and/or Personal loans portfolios.

  • Degree in quantitative subject (e.g.. Maths, Economics, Engineering).

  • A logical analytic approach to problem-solving with the ability to find solutions

  • Credit bureau data – Intermediate

  • Python / SQL - Intermediate/Advanced (Desirable)

  • Some decision system experience (Experian Strategy Manager, Triad/Blaze, FICO Originations Manger, or equivalent)
