We have an opportunity for a Senior Buyer on behalf of a Financial Services firm based near Warrington. This is a generalist position and will cover both indirect and direct procurement (ranging from HR services, insurance, marketing to office supplies, equipment, IT) however experience with IT is desirable.

You will be responsible for end to end procurement across a variety of categories including supplier sourcing activities and managing the supplier framework. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts is essential.

You must efficiently manage the service provided by the chosen supplier and ensure all agreements are being met including assessing all third party supplier risks. You will manage all suppliers on a day to day basis and will be the point of contact for procurement within the business.

You should have a track record of delivering cost saving initiatives and the ability to perform data analysis of the relevant supplier market. Experience of the IT or Professional services category would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
