MERJE is looking to recruit a Sales Team Manager to join our client based on the outskirts of Glasgow. This role is a key permanent hire for the organisation, working Monday to Friday between 9am – 5:30pm and will join a thriving business to support a period of continued growth
The role will involve leading a team of Business to Business telesales staff, ensuring a positive working environment and naturally motivating and engaging your people on a daily basis. Of course you will be a highly driven individual and at the same time be an effective mentor with outstanding coaching ability to ensure your team meet and exceed the personal and team targets set for them. Whilst you will manage performance, you will also be responsible for creating a collaborative and fun platform including any incentives allowing the team to thrive and maximise on their own results.
In addition, you will ensure all relevant GDPR, quality and regulatory standards are met at all times and find effective ways to embed this within the sales process, whilst ensuring senior management are updated with all necessary reports and performance data in a timely manner. You will be given the opportunity to drive change, use your own innovation to continuously improve processes and great business practise.
You will be a natural leader with proven credentials in running a volume based B2B sales team, able to show your own commercial acumen with an ability to deal effectively with clients whenever called upon. This is a great opportunity to truly lead by example and create a high performing sales unit who are fully engaged and bought in to your vision. Of course you will be resilient, motivated and a great communicator who has superb stakeholder management skills and can provide a seamless link between the sales team and senior managers.
