Our Client is a global specialist within the financial services field that are hiring an experienced Risk Manager to provide proactive support, guidance and challenge to Senior Management in relation to risk identification and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and provide oversight of the risk registers for UK and EU entities, maintaining ongoing relationships with key colleagues, ensuring awareness of key issues and risks.

• Undertake formal quarterly risk reviews with the UK & EU entities’ CEOs.

• Provide risk reporting and where appropriate represent risk at relevant entity Boards.

• Identify and help mitigate existing and emerging risks and issues affecting the Business, recommending actions to mitigate the risks.

• Act as principal point of contact on risk management matters for UK and EU colleagues and provide input into the collations of the Group Risk report.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical risk knowledge and the ability to maintain a risk management framework.

• Proven experience in risk management, experience within a technology-led business, financial services or experience of risk within significant change programmes would be of value.

• Proven experience in guiding colleagues and demonstrating sound business acumen and commercial judgement.

• Proactive approach, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
