​Our client is an established and well-respected financial services business that are hiring a Risk & Compliance Assistant to support development of the business’s risk management framework and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

•Assist in the delivery of activities forming part of the compliance monitoring and risk assurance plan in accordance with policies and procedures.

•Assist in ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory obligations.

•Support the production of board and committee reporting where required by the risk and compliance function.

•Provide guidance and training to other departments as required.

•Assist with the recording and handling of complaints.

Support the first line with customer due diligence checking, where necessary and assist in oversight of third parties.

•Assist with capturing and processing management information for risk reporting and ensure any risks are identified, captured and monitored.

The Ideal Candidate:

•Experience of compliance, risk and regulatory issues within an FCA regulated environment is required.

•Prior experience of complaints handling and processing of financial data and graphically presenting such data.

•You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
