Newly created role, reporting directly to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer with responsibility for designing and implementing an appropriate and proportionate risk and compliance framework and providing independent reporting and assurance to the Board.

•Supporting the CRCO in the evolution, implementation and embedding of the risk management framework.
•Working with the business to ensure that the Company’s conduct risk framework, to incorporate consumer duty of care, is appropriate and maintained, ensuring that it is effectively implemented and embedded within the business.
•Providing clear, concise and consistent advice and guidance to all levels of the business on relevant regulatory requirements
•Horizon-scanning across relevant regulators, eg PRA, FCA, identifying and communicating relevant changes, and their implications for the Company
•Co-ordinating and overseeing delivery against key regulatory deadlines and requirements, for example, regulatory reporting, annual fit and proper review, approval of financial promotions and oversight of appointed representatives.
•Owning and co-ordinating the T&C platform used by the Company to ensure minimum levels of competency are attained and maintained by employees.
•Managing and developing a team of Risk & Compliance Analysts to support overall delivery of Risk & Compliance objectives
The Ideal Candidate:
•Experience in a compliance and/or risk role within an FCA regulated environment
•Ability to lead and manage people, effectively allocating tasks and priorities
•Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence, across all levels, both internally and externally (including Board, auditors and Regulators)
