​The Client

MERJE are supporting this globally established Wealth/Investment firm in their search for a dedicated Risk Analyst. This is a newly created role reporting into the Risk Officer.

You will help with the embedding of the risk management activities within the Risk Management Framework, ensuring the business can identify, evaluate and manage its risks, and increase the likelihood that it will meet strategic and business objectives.


•Help maintain Risk and Control Self-Assessment across all departments, ensuring the business updates the evaluation of risks and controls in accordance with the requirements of the Risk Management Framework

•Work with the business to manage Operational Risk Events and Risk Issues to manage actual or potential impacts to our organisation, ensuring the recording and tracking the completion of agreed corrective action plans

•Provide support in risk management engagement in business change activities, including Client Propositions, Outsourcing and Vendor Management, and Business Process Change management activities

•Maintain and use risk management data to produce well written structured reports

•Produce ad hoc presentations, and maintain risk training, for different departments

Ideal experience

•3+ years of relevant operation or enterprise Risk Management experience within a financial advisory or private wealth management firm, with working knowledge of Institutional fund management, fund structures, segregate mandates and FCA regulatory obligations.

•Eager to work in a collaborative environment, across the UK business to manage risk and, globally on cross-entity risk framework programs

•Ability to interact with and present to all levels of the organisation including management and department heads

•Strong attention to detail
