Job Description

My client is looking for a Resource Planner Analyst to manage the end-to-end Resource planning cycle. This requires forecasting, plan and schedule all frontline operational resources across all Operational services using extensive Resourcing knowledge and expertise to provide optimal staffing to meet customer demand and achieve service performance targets.

 

Responsibilities:

This role is a key role in the Resource Planning function supporting the Resource Planning Lead to ensure that resources are deployed efficiently and effectively. 

Using inputs from Strategic Planners, forecast across the short/ medium term period to determine requirements based on existing resources.

responsible for ensuring that all existing resources are scheduled based on customer demand and that all off phone activity is planned, coordinated, reported on and is in line with business targets. 

This role is the custodian of all aspects of resource deployment including shrinkage activity and reporting which includes allowances and deployment Feeding the shrinkage into the Strategic Plans.

Represent Resource Planning in project work, offering subject matter expertise on resourcing and deployment and deal with any queries in relation to their area of expertise.

Attend Operational Planning meetings with Management offering predictions and highlight any areas of concern or opportunity whilst always offering recommendations and solution. 

Recommend, build and maintain the most appropriate short/ medium term capacity planning and forecasting models to predict performance outcomes based on existing resources.

Use all aspects of technology to simply and automate Planning practices wherever possible to streamline outputs. 

Responsible for updating and maintaining any WFM systems with accurate data ensuring all central information is up to date and fit for purpose. 

 

 

Skills & Experience:

Strong communication and stakeholder management

Strong organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, working to challenging deadlines.

Committed team player with the ability to coach others and promote teamwork across the planning community.

Knowledge of resource planning technologies (WFM)

Experience in building and managing forecasting and scheduling models for both telephony and processing functions.

Experience in resource deployment including shrinkage management.

Proven ability to analyse business issues through data and process analysis, identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions to address.
