An award-winning workplace pensions provider are looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their Compliance team, reporting directly into the Head of Compliance.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following, and more, as part of their role:

•Provide compliance review and sign-off of operational communications.

•Work closely with the Head of Compliance to design and implement the compliance framework structure.

•Act as part of the ‘second line of defence’, in conjunction with the Risk department, ensuring that it provides an independent check on the activities of the business.

•Manage the successful delivery of compliance projects and providing trusted advice to wider business projects and initiatives.

•Act as liaison with TPR on Supervisory matter, including coordination of responses, managing communication with the regulator.

Skills and Experience

Essential

•Ability to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge and experience covering compliance related to Master Trusts.

•In-depth understanding of DC pensions and Auto Enrolment.

•In-depth understanding of all aspects of regulatory and compliance obligations.

•Proven track record of working with senior stakeholders and gaining their trust.

•Demonstrable commercial compliance experience, particularly in an evolving organisation within the financial services industry.

•Confidence to challenge all levels of the business.

•Tenacity to drive improvement and risk reduction across the business.

•Experience of acting as compliance review and sign-off point for pension communications

Desirable

•Experience working with a GRC system.

•Proven ability to deliver enhancement to process.
