Reporting to and working alongside the directors within a small and focused Purchasing team, the role will involve maintaining contact and communication with all suppliers whilst being involved in all stages of the purchasing process. Long term, we would like the candidate to help develop and implement processes to improve the overall efficiency of the Purchasing department.
• Maintaining dialogue with suppliers.
• Following up with suppliers.
• Tracking orders and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Updating internal databases with order details.
• Keeping the Sales team informed with key delivery information.
• Problem solving.
