A rapidly growing service business based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy accounts payable team. You'll help to ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger process, from receiving an invoice through to making a payment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a fast-paced and high volume purchase ledger department. You will be part of a vibrant newly refurbished office where everyone pulls together to get the job done, whilst creating an excellent working atmosphere.
You’ll have previously dealt with:
· Allocating PO numbers to tight deadlines
· Monthly preparation and posting of self-bill invoices and inter-company recharge invoices
· Various payment runs to tight deadlines
· Investigating any debit balances or aged balanced on the ledger
