The Role:

The prime function of this role is to appoint contractors and manage the repair process in conjunction with the relevant loss adjuster / insurer.

Personal Requirements:

• Good organisational and planning skills

• Experience in adjusting processes

• Technical building knowledge (however, training will be provided)

• Experience of validating building schedules and invoices

Also preferred:

• Cert CII and / or CILA Qualified

Responsibilities:

• Appoint contractors being conscious of a client’s specific requirements.

• “Cradle to Grave” coordination of repair works

• Undertaking initial estimate validation

• Manage the contractors to ensure SLA compliance

• Proactive liaison with contractors, policyholders, loss adjusters and Insurers throughout the QA process

• To undertake quality calls on files

• Management of own caseload

• Achieve team and individual targets by prioritising tasks

• Validation of final accounts

• Accurate fee collection

• Take ownership of complaints/issues and proactively work towards a solution

Other Responsibilities:

• Provide input in to process improvement and innovation

• Assist in developing relationships between QA and other teams/suppliers

• Assist QA General Manager as required

• Promote positive and proactive attitude within the team

• Undertake other duties over and above those listed in the job description, appropriate to the individual’s skills and experience.
