​My client is looking for a Project Manager to manage the delivery of approved Integration and change projects within the bank. This will include ensuring that the project is correctly specified, delivered on time, meet’s business & technical requirements and is within the agreed budget. Projects will be internally resourced but may require third parties to be managed as part of the overall production line.

To bring project management leadership into the full implementation lifecycle of our integration and change function. You will liaise with the all teams included in the delivery lifecycle effectively managing and communicating all aspect of the project within the defined governance framework.


•To ensure the project specification and deliverables are consistent with the needs of the business and meet the strategic priorities

• Ensure timescales and costs are managed throughout the lifecycle of the project

• Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the execution of projects

• Produce and maintain the Project Initiation Document • Direct and motivate the project team

• Manage business and project issues and risks, including the development of contingency plans

• When the project is part of a programme, liaise with Programme Management and other Project Managers to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated

•Take responsibility for the overall project plan, tracking progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary

• Be responsible for change control and any required Configuration Management • Report to the Project Board throughout

• Prepare the Lessons Learned Report

• Prepare the End Project Report

• Be responsible for project administration

• Fully adopts the PMO Change Framework and adheres to process and procedures across all functions

• Ensures all project artefacts and delivery outputs are delivered to a high quality

Skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience working as a Project Manager with Prince2 or similar

• 3+ years of customer interfacing experience – project oversight, customer presentation – within the Insurance or Financial Services sectors

• Insurance Broking Business integration projects which include systems integration, preferably Acturis

• Regulatory Change

• Project lifecycle and key project components e.g. plan, PID, BRD, RAID log

• Demonstrate an understanding of Aston Lark and the sector it operates in

•Excellent project planning skills

•Excellent client service skills

•Ability to persuade and influence others

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve including resolution of complex project issues

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to gather and analyse information from the client

• Excellent skills in MS Office Product including MS Project

• Uses own initiative to drive change

• Logical thinker able to solve complex business problems
