​My client is looking for a Product Manager to manage one of their award-winning insurance product range.

Your job will be to ensure they are offering the right level of cover with features that appeal to customers. You’ll work with stakeholders both internally and externally to manage and develop cover range to support the ambitious plans to grow sales. You’ll also take on the important role of co-ordinating risk across the team to ensure they deliver the products and services in a fair and compliant way.

Responsibilities

• Market-scanning to regularly benchmark products and cover levels against competitors to keep up to date with trends and developments.

• Undertaking product reviews and preparing recommendations for any changes / improvements.

• Identifying opportunities for new products and ensuring the range is correct.

• Working as SME to ensure our policy documents and marketing materials are accurate.

• Monitoring Customer behaviour and complaints with a view to managing fair customer outcomes and ensuring compliance with Customers Duty Requirements.

• Co-ordinating Annual Product Review and Product Value Assessment, whilst undertaking regular monitoring throughout the year.

Skills & Experience

• Always think of the customer first and you’ll demonstrate a proven ability to focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.

• Show a real interest in understanding our market and competitors to look for best practice and new ideas

• Accuracy & Detail accommodated.

• Able to demonstrate experience of managing or controlling risk in a previous role

• Previous insurance experience/technical policy knowledge is ideal but if you have strong experience in financial services product management that is ideal.
